RADēCO has over 30 years of proven success and reliability in the commercial nuclear industry. Our products are used in remote monitoring programs, emergency planning, and health physics departments at nuclear power plants and research facilities in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe, and Asia. We offer a wide variety of air sampling instruments and filter media to fit a variety of applications. Our Cartridges RADēCO’s radioiodine sampling cartridges are second to none. We consistently test every batch of carbon from 1-7 CFM in one CFM increments. We also test the pressure drops at each tested flow rate as well as 18 and 168 hour purges. The purge test provides confidence that the collection efficiencies would be “known” and performance constant in the event that a cartridge has been sampling for 7 days. All RADēCO tests are in accordance with ASTM D 3803-98 Section 12. Some manufacturers of Charcoal cartridges only test different flow rates on alternating batches and compile historical averages instead of actual test results. For example one batch may be tested at flow rates 1, 3, 5 and 7. The next batch would be tested at even flow rates. RADēCO performs all tests on each batch. The comparison of the quality of testing procedures between RADēCO and our competitors can be stated by the actions of Dr. Don Ludwick of Environmental Engineering and Testing. He personally signs each Certificate of Performance for RADēCO. Only RADēCO performs all the testing Dr. Ludwick prescribes. Products used in the nuclear industry: |
